Thank you for your question. While this question does depend on individual goals and anatomy often my injectable fillers of choice are Juvederm and Volbella which is also from Allergan. I would suggest an in person consultation. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
Thank you for sharing your question. There are many different types of fillers on the market that are great for lip augmentation. In my practice, I have had excellent success using Juvederm Volbella to the lips, which is a very soft filler that gives very natural looking results. Other Juvederm and Restylane products can be used in this area as well, it all depends on how much volume you need. Regardless the of the type of filler used, it is very important to add a conservative amount at first to avoid overfilling. I also prefer to inject lip fillers using the microcannula technique, which is essentially bruise-less and minimizes the number of needle sticks required for injections. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified specialist who is experienced with lip filler and the microcannula technique. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. There is no huge differences between 2 lines of product: Juvederm vs Restylane.Restylane-L was the first product from the Restylane range to be approved for lip augmentation in 2012 by FDA. Restylane Silk (approved in 2014), which has been specifically designed for lip augmentation and correction of perioral rhytides. The first Juvéderm product was approved by the FDA in 2006 for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.Juvéderm and Restylane are the bacterium-derived NASHA products. Juvéderm products have a much higher concentration of cross-linked HAs, which accounts for their longevity, and they are soft and easy to use. However, not ONLY the degree of cross -linking can affect the product’s longevity but also treatment areas and the patient’s metabolism. You will achieve great results using either Juvederm or Restylane if you find a highly trained and experienced injector.
This is determined when you discuss your goals with you surgeon. I use a lot of Juvederm and Restylane and both make patients very happy. In cases where they wish more natural results I tend to go with Silk, Vobella or Belotero.Best wishes, Dr. Aldo
Thankyou for your question. The best filler for the lips is determined when youdiscuss your goals with your physician. Juvederm and Restylane are both goodfillers for the lips and patients tend to be very with them. However, yourresearch should focus more on getting the best injector. I hope this helps!
Thank you for your inquiry. Any lip filler will be good quality. The most important thing is that you have an experienced injector. I suggest you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon you feel comfortable with. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. There aremany lip fillers including Restylane Silk, Juvederm and Volbella. Determiningthe right one for you depends on your cosmetic goals. For more information, Irecommend getting a in person consultation from a board-certifieddermatologist.
Juvederm is my personal favorite for lip augmentation...however the most important factor in successful lip augmentation is the injector. Look at his/her results photos and be clear on what you are looking for in lip injection.
Juvederm UP XC® or Volbella® are great lip fillers. Please consult a board certified aesthetic dermatologist for a consultation.
There is no one best lip filler. It depends on what result you are looking for. If you want more subtle and natural looking results then I would suggest Restylane into the lips or Volbella for Lip Lines or Restylane Silk for fine lip lines. If you are looking for a more dramatic change then Juvederm would be your choice. Please consult a board certified dermatologist who is an expert in lip fillers for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
