I have thyroid disease and now have a goiter several months after being injected with Juvederm. Coincidence?

I have both Graves Disease and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. A year before the injections, I did not have a goiter or any nodules on my thyroid. I was first injected in February and again in June last year. In November, I had nodules which appear to be a multi-nodular goiter and a small cluster of cysts. I want more Juvederm but am afraid now.

The needles used for injecting Juvederm are extremely small bore and do not traumatize the skin. As. Result, there should not be any scarring from injecting Juvederm.

Thank you for your question.  Neither botox nor fillers cause your metabolism to be increased, I'm guessing the appointment threw you off your normal routine and that may have delayed your normal eating times/amount.

Thank you for your questions and photograph. I would speak with your injector to ask for tips on how best to deal with this nodule.  Smaller nodules can usually be softened with light massage, and time, but larger nodules may require administration of a medication to help dissolve the JVD.
