I have always been active / athletic, never struggled with weight until after kids. I started a workout plan to loose 20 lbs, eat leaner, and be very disciplined with TRX, Pilates, Spin and Weight Training. After 6 months, 2 cleanses and the 18- 20 lbs gone, I was not able to loose the upper bra line fat in my traps/ bra line and the fat under bra - upper abs. I also had lost volume in my face, feeling like I was starting to show my age. I found Dr. Miller via Zendy Health - a cool app that lets you shop around for physicians and he responded to my request immediately. I was so excited when I looked at his reviews. Hundreds of reviews with a 5 star rating, his attention to detail, wonderful patient care and follow up. I was very nervous about the consult and wasn't sure what to expect. When I arrived, I was greeted by his office staff, who were so nice, professional and very personable. I had many questions about the procedure, risks, healing, and downtime required for recovery. I had read many things online about the difficulty to do lipo on the upper back/ above the bra line because of the anatomy with course muscle tissue and fat. Dr. Miller shared his experience with this area, and answered all of my questions. My date for the procedure was scheduled quickly and I was provided with all of the prep and post instructions. I arrived very, very ,nervous the day of the procedure. I opted for being awake with adivan, as I don't like to go under general anesthesia. Everyone was very gracious and helpful. The procedure took about 2 1/2 hours. I left the office feeling good, not much pain, wearing a very comfortable vest for compression. Dr Miller was very good about answering my questions during the procedure, as was his assistant. It has been 6 days post procedure. I have been doing well with minimal discomfort. During my post op appointment, Dr. Miller was pleased with the healing process, answering my questions. The healing process has not been as difficult as I thought. I am still walking 10,000 steps per day and hope to return to my regular program in 2-3 weeks. The results thus far, are amazing. I have minimal swelling and light discoloration / bruising. I put on my sports bra - where I could always see my upper back fat. Huge Difference - Probably about a 60% - 70% reduction. Abs are super flat. Now I just need time to pass to get back to the work outs. I have a few friends who will see Dr Miller also. Great experience and patient care.

I lost over 80 pounds over the past several years due to changing my diet and consistently taking my fitness goals to higher levels . It was totally worth doing and I am so glad I picked the best doctor in Newport Beach. I am thrilled with the outcome and couldn't be happier. Not once has someone asked if I have had something done to my face. Natural looking results is what I wanted and my procedure gave me those results. Excited beyond belief! By the way, I did this entire procedure with local anesthetic. While that may set off alarms and fears in some of you, it truly is the better way to go.. less down time, less bruising.

I had the DOT laser done to even out my skin tone and tighten it up. I have olive skin that is probe to melasma. I am so impressed with the results, and by Dr. Miller's office and staff. They apply numbing cream before the procedure, so there is very little discomfort during the procedure itself. Dr. Miller takes all the time you need with him before the procedure to address your concerns and questions, and the nurses are amazing!! I peeled for a few days, and new, smooth, even toned skin emerged! I am very pleased with the results and I would definitely do it again.

I waited way too long to finally have a neck lift and the reason I waited was fear of looking like had major work done. The opposite ended up being true. I look much improved but not surgical. And I cannot believe how easy and quick the healing was. I had the surgery on Friday afternoon and was able to return to work Monday. I still had some minor swelling and bruising but it was not even noticeable. 100 % pleased with the results so far. I also had fat transfer done at the same time so the total cost ended up being discounted to $5500 for both procedures. I know I have a few weeks to go before the final result but I am back to normal routine as far as work and seeing friends and family. Updated on 6 Jan 2016: not sure yet

Wonderful experience! My skin looks amazing after the laser treatment. I keep getting comments on it. Dr Miller and his staff took such good care of me. I'll be doing it again in a couple of years! There really is nothing else that works to rejuvenate the skin than laser. All the creams and serums money can buy don't compare.

After forty years of being a beach bum in sunny Southern California the sun damage finally caught up with me. I reached out to Dr. Miller when I had enough of looking at fine lines and brown spots on my face. Dr. Miller recommended the fraxel laser to remove them. As you can see after one week of the procedure my fine lines disappeared and my brown spots have faded tremendously. I could not be happier with Dr. Miller and his staff. There is a little down time but it is well worth the results!

After years of being in the sun both at the beach and in the mountains, I decided laser resurfacing seemed like a good option. I was tired of paying upwards of $300 for facials and products which I don't think work very well (Sunscreen is the best cream for anyones face.. daily). I wanted results that would last longer than 2 weeks. I can really see the difference after having the procedure.

I have a lot of broken capillaries and brown spots on my face. I've done various treatments over the years with minimal results. I needed to do something drastic. I was afraid of the downtime which ended up being minimal, which was fantastic! After numbing cream set in, procedure was quick, 20 minutes tops. I highly recommend taking the steroids the dr. recommends. It helps with the swelling and recovery!

I was motivated to see Dr. Miller for a few reasons but primarily because I've struggled with melasma after all three pregnancies. No matter what topical treatment I utilized, nothing truly removed the dark pigment. Dr. Miller recently performed a laser procedure on my entire face and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! My skin is nearly flawless. Dr. Miller is professional, skilled and calming both pre and post treatment. I would recommend his services to my friends and family!
