Should I massage the lump after Juvederm ultra filler? (photos)

Thank you for your questions and photograph. I would speak with your injector to ask for tips on how best to deal with this nodule.  Smaller nodules can usually be softened with light massage, and time, but larger nodules may require administration of a medication to help dissolve the JVD.

From the pictures that you sent, it looks like you have some irregularities from your injections. I would recommend that you see your doctor and review your concerns. Massaging the lump may be helpful but if the lump does not go away in a few days, you should go back to your doctor to consider options for treating this.

It is unusual to get a nodule like that after injection.  You can try massaging it with your fingers or a cotton tipped swab.  However, it would be best to see your doctor especially if it doesn't go away with moderate massage or if it is painful.
