I got Botox gummy smile April 18th. It has been one week. I realize that it takes two full weeks for the full effect but I am worried by my early results. Do I have reason to worry or should I relax until my two week follow up appointment? See before/after photos. My lip is lowered highlighting my crooked smile and making the over part of my lip look enlarged. What do you think? Help!!

So far it appears your Botox treatment is working as intended.  I encourage you to wait the full two weeks for your final result before assessing.  If you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.

It takes two weeks! I appreciate you posting your concerns as well as your photographs after Botox injection to treat your smile! I do think that you should give it the full two weeks. This is the typical time that should be allowed for the Botox to take a fact completely and avoiding unnecessary reinjection as well as having too much Botox into the lip muscles.Please be sure you see your injector next week for an appropriate follow-up and have a great day! Hello and thank you for your question.  Yes, it can take up to two weeks to see full results. There is a bit of asymmetry seen in the "after" photo on the right side of your smile.  If this is still a concern for you after the 2 week mark, you can ask your injector to try and even it out with a touch more.  However, if the assymetry is naturally occurring (hard to really tell from the photos) then there is nothing to be worried about.  Botox in the upper lip can relax it enough to change your smile a bit and even give it a fuller appearance. I would wait a full 2 weeks before assessing final results. If it's after the 2 week wait, additional Botox may be needed to get your desired results. Hope this helps.
