Unhappy with breast lift and implant results, am I being too critical? (Photos)

Question

My doctor tells me that my result is fine and that I am a perfectionist, but I don’t see my result as being fine at all. Prior to this recent surgery I had implants and they looked perfect, but I developed capsular contracture and ptosis and wanted it fixed. I feel that even with the ptosis and cc my breasts looked better before surgery. Am I being too critical?

I understand your concerns.  The contour of the breast could be better and the nipple/areolas are on the lower pole.  A scar revision procedure could improve on these finer points for a more attractive result.

It’s a very good result. Your scars are barely visible. Don’t have another operation  unless you have to due to recurrent capsule or implant breakage.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Your breasts are nice, but do have sone asymmetries. The left breast in the picture looks like the implant is a bit higher.  Dropping it would fill out the bottom, raise the nipple and make them more symmetrical

Thanks for the series of posted photos. I have reviewed your concerns, though the results are "acceptable" improvement is your desire. Understand there is NEVER perfection. I ask what is your "risks vs benefits" ratios. The answer is very little can be achieved by further surgery, with the risks of things getting worse!. But you need to decide if "you" want to under go these risks... i would revision all the lift scarring, releases the capsular contracture/fibrosis. Fees in the $12,000 range. best to virtual consult with....

Hi and welcome to our forum!
From your photos, I note that your breast implants are at different "altitudes" on your chest wall. The side with the high riding implant exaggerates the fold beneath the breast and simulates breast sag.
The presence of previous capsular contracture with its associated scarring potential may complicate revisional surgery.
I would consider lowering the elevated implant through revision if you accept the risks of potential further scarring.
