Hello! For a better orientation in relation to your case, it is always good to see the photos, however with what you tell us, we can determine that a breast lift with implants can help us achieve the result you want. Thank you for contacting us!
Dear heathert222718,breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Yes, you can choose a lift with small implants placed behind the muscle for better upper breast fullness.
Photos would aid tremendously in answering your question accurately (along with wish pics). While aggressive breast lifts (mastopexy) will raise and tighten the breasts, they achieve, in the short term, upper pole fullness. Over time, many patients breasts settle and lose upper pole fullness. Adding a small implant to the top of the breast should solve this issue.Best wishes.Dr. Taranow
Good day and thank you for your question. If you are interested in increasing the fullness in the top of your breasts I would recommend placing an implant. A lift by itself would lift the nipple however it might not give you the upper pole fullness you desire. It is difficult to determine whether a lift alone will be sufficient for you as there wasn't a photo provided however an in person consultation would be a perfect way to determine this. Good luck with your journey!Cheers,Joseph Batac, M.D.Double board certified Plastic surgeon
Hi and welcome to our forum! The breast lift procedure in itself will place the nipple areolar complex into anatomic position, will conify the shape of the breasts, and will increase superior pole volume. An implant is not mandatory, and is added only if you want to be larger in size. After a lift, the change in breast shape often looks smaller than the previous sagging breast although no breast tissue is removed. Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
You need a lift. Just based on your two photos, you have plenty of tissue and don't need implants. You could even consider a small reduction.
You probably have a capsule that has not let that implant completely settle down. I would suggest going back to your surgeon and being examined.
I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They then get to choose...
