Primary or Revision Rhinoplasty cost?

Question

I had previous non cosmetic nasal surgeries (septoplasty, nasal valve collapse, turbinate reduction) 2 years ago. Thinking of getting rhinoplasty next year. Is the surgeon going to charge me the price of a primary rhinoplasty or revision? Thanks

Regardless that your previous surgeries did not affect external nose structures significantly, it would still be considered secondary rhinoplasty due to scarring and structural changes after previous procedures. These changes may affect your external rhinoplasty (septal cartilage harvest, residual septum support, tip stabilization, etc.). Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question.You will not be charged a primary rhinoplasty fee in the operation you will have because you have had surgery on your nose before, a second rhinoplasty fee will be charged.If you can provide photos , from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. Since you've not had rhinoplasty, it should be the cost of the primary rhinoplasty. The bigger question is whether or not you need any cartilage grafting during your primary rhinoplasty procedure, so it this point you may not have any cartilage left over on the inside of your nose due to previous nasal surgeries. Ear cartilage may have to be an option, which is just a little more complicated.

Differen, Plaza surgice I have a different ways of running their practice, including have a bill.
Some plastic surgeons will differentiate different types of rhinoplasty and charge different amounts for different patients based on their policies. Some providers may have a set price for all rhinoplasty surgery while others may differentiate pricing based on what’s involved with each procedure.
I think the most important variable is finding the right provider. During that process you can ask firsthand how each provider determine their own pricing. 
Rhinoplasty surgery is complex, and the complexity is increased when doing secondary procedures.
The importance of provider selection cannot be over emphasized.
For that reason, I suggest patients schedule multiple in person consultations with local plastic surgeons with extensive rhinoplasty experience in their area.
