is it possible to achieve the after photo without moving the tip up
Answer: Maybe. Depends on a couple things... It looks like most of what you've done is to remove the bump on the bridge and "de-project" the nose, which is moving the bridge and tip and entire nose back closer to the face. That's a good way to make a prominent nose less prominent. The problem is that when you make those two changes -- lowering a bump and deprojecting a nose -- it can make the tip *look* as though it dropped, so often we raise the tip just a bit, to make sure that the nose doesn't look longer after surgery. However, if you're happy with the length of the nose -- how high or low your tip is -- that doesn't have to be changed. You should get to decide what happens and what the goals are with your rhinoplasty. It's possible to get all this figured out with morphs made before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.) Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. For most noses, it's much better to not have surgery than to have inexpertly-performed surgery. Read my essay on how to stay out of trouble while selecting a rhinoplasty surgeon. And it also discusses how to take photos that are best for online evaluations.

Answer: Taking a bump down... It is a little hard to tell from one photo, but if you are asking if you can take down the bump without changing the tip, then yes, you certainly can. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

Answer: Yes Looking at the tip, it looks like you just want to bring up and rotate the infratip region and leave the columella in the same angle. You would just need to explain that exactly to your surgeon.

Answer: Is it possible to achieve the look in this photoThat moving the tip up Much more information is needed, such as a full set of facial and nasal photographs from all angles to Make a determination about how best to proceed. Digital computer imaging of your nose from different angles can be accomplished. Also important to remember the nose is a three-dimensional structure, and rhinoplasty is performed at all three dimensions, so it's important to look at all the angles, not just focused on one three-quarter angle. choose your rhinoplasty specialist wisely based upon extensive experience producing natural results
