Should I get a lip lift, or is there a noninvasive alternative? (Photo)

Lip lifts are really remarkable in terms of the significant aesthetic enhancement they give, if done properly of course. There really are no good alternatives. Fillers tend to make a long lip look heavy and awkward. Botox relaxes it even more. RF in the form of morpheus, accutite ‘ Facetite will not do much for this area, and certainly not in the way a lip lift could. What is the reason for avoiding a lip lift? Most people fear the scar ….The scar heals very well, and in many patients it is barely perceptible. A small number of patients will get some redness for a couple months, but this can be covered with make up temporarily and resolves very nicely. The key to a successful lip lift is proper design, right amount of excision, freeing on the tissues, and very good deep support…. Not just a simple excision of skin with closure.

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. A lip lift will improve your appearance. You may also want to consider fat transfer to your nasal labial folds and marionettes.
