Thank you for your answer. There are already protocols on patients that had COVID that are going to get elective surgery, specifically Plastic surgery. The waiting time depends on the symptoms and recovery process from them; it could be from 2 weeks to 6 months. I recomend to discuss this with your plastic surgeon
Hello @china562 thank you for your question. Protocols for covid vary depending on each doctor or practice. This is a virus that we are still learning about so the measures change according to the new variants, what each state mandates. I suggest that you speak directly with your specialist for guidance. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You should wait 8 weeks after your symptoms have resolved to avoid any complications associated with Covid, particularly a pro inflammatory state.

Each surgeon will have their own protocol and I suppose to some extent it depends on what type of symptoms each person has.Bum may require a negative test while others may need a certain number of days of waiting.Yeah surgery scheduled and then you should ask your provider.Best Mats Hagstrom MD

Thank-you for your question. Going by your photographs, you appear to be a good candidate for a BBL procedure and the skin appears to have enough elasticity. The most important limiting factor often is the safety of the procedure and the planes into which the fat can be injected safely. You can...
Thanks for your question. From your pictures, I would recommend gaining weight for a BBL. The BBL includes 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. So, you would need enough fat in these areas for transfer to the buttocks. I recommend you...
Thank you for your question. Based on the pictures you appear to be candidate for a second round Liposuction and BBL. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results. Respectfully, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Dear Carolina_10_94, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American...
Hello @carmel mella, thank you for you question. To perform a BBL while the patient is awake is not safe. That would require local anesthesia, which is very risky since local anesthesia has spikes that can be problematic at very high doses. Patient safety should always be the top priority....
