The implants range in size as well as diameter and projection. Your best bet is to find a surgeon that will help you picked based on the look you are trying to achieve. You should not need to worry about the available implant choices. Communicate with the surgeon and they will use all of the information to pick the right device. The implants range from 150 to 960 cc.The best wayto determine the size that fits your personal perception of the perfect breastis to try on sizers. This way you can see how they fit on you, how they add toyour current volume, and whether they fit your frame. Mentor HP profile saline implants have basediameters that range from 8.8 cm (very narrow) to 13.8 cm (moderately wide). The patients should beallowed to choose the volume. Then the surgeon carefully considers thebase diameter, projection, profile, manufacturer, and fill material that willachieve the patients goals of size as well as qualitative look (natural, intermediate, or bold upper pole fullness or projection), all the while takinginto consideration the patient's anatomic features that will affect theoutcome. HP implants can be made to look very natural or very augmented, depending on where in the range the implants are filled to achieve a particularvolume. At the low end of the fill range, HP implants do not have the upperpole fullness that most people associate with the fake look. On the other hand,a fake over-augmented look can be created with a moderate profile implant if itis overfilled (a common practice for surgeons that commonly use moderateprofile implants). In addition, too wide an implant will put the volume pastthe anterior axillary fold (side boob), which in my opinion, looks more fakethan upper pole fullness. So there are many factors that need to beconsidered. The experience of the surgeon and the degree to which theyexplain the options to you is of utmost importance. The subtlety in the final outcomeis not achieved by which profile implant is used, it is determined by the skillin the creation of the pocket, the choice of volume, and where in the range theimplant is filled.
The smallest saline implant size is approximately 150cc. I have never in my career put an implant that small in a patient. Be sure to see a board eligible/certified plastic surgeon for a consultation to help guide you in the right direction for choosing an implant size.I hope this helps.- Dr. Bryson Richards

different manufacturers have different starting size but in general the smallest in between 230 to 150 cc.
As the other surgeons mentioned, the smallest implant is around 120 cc. However, if you are contemplating such a small size increase, perhaps you should consider fat grafting instead of implants? You will need to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to make this determination, but I have found fat grafting is a great alternative for a small augmentation.

I do not ever use compression bands after breast augmentation, so it should be perfectly fine to remove it to shower. If the operation was performed correctly, external compression devices are unnecessary.
Thank you for your question and your photographs. Both 500 and 600 cc implants are certainly significantly sized. The ideal size is mostly up to you. That being said, 600 cc implants will certainly make a statement.Probably best to return to your plastic surgeon and try on implants again.Best of luck.
