This is absolutely a question to be answered by the modeling agency. There are specific looks that they are trying to portray. If yogurt an implant that is too large, you may be operating yourself out of a job.
It is really hard to advise breast implant size without anin-person examination. The postoperativeresult of a particular implant size varies with the amount of breast tissue youbegin with, your ribcage width, skin elasticity, among other factors. That being said, my guess would be that youare starting with breasts that are closer to a B-cup size.Best to decide this after an in-person examination.Best of Luck.
Dear Sydiav, Thanks for submitting your pictures. There is a noticeable asymmetry of your breasts. The left breasts is bigger and it's crease is lower than the right crease. The right crease is positioned more medially on the lateral end. The right areola is bigger than the left one. So, the most important thing for you to do for optimal result, is to select the right plastic surgeon. Do your due diligence. Consult only with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive. Pay special attention to the cleavage area, the perkiness, the symmetry and the natural look. As far as implants size. Your surgeon has to measure your chest and breasts circumference, since it is critical for selecting the right implants size. If indeed, your bra size is 32 A cup, to become 32 C cup , you will need implants with a volume of roughly, 250 cc. To become 32 full C cup - 325cc. In regard to your strech marks, there is no way to fill them up, however, they will look better with implants due to the skin tightening. Finally, the areolas will strech with the implants and get bigger. You might want to discuss with your surgeon, the possibilty of reducing it's size. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Thank you for your questions and for your photographs. As others have stated here there is really no correct answer. I think that many runway models would be very happy to have the breasts that you have right now. You look lovely and natural. If you're going to consider breast augmentation I would recommend you do it for yourself primarily. When thinking about sizing I always recommend that patients try implant sizers on in a bra. There are a variety of options available, but I find that looking at actual implants is the best teaching tool. Bags of water, rice and even computer programs do not necessarily show the exact shape of the actual implant. In my own practice patients will often come in with different blouses to experiment. The help and advice of a friend is always good to have as well evenBecause I think there is no right answer to the runway question if you do this I hope that you'll do it for yourself alone.Best wishes.
I would recommend a moderate plus implant in the 230-280 cc range for you. It would look natural and complement your modeling endeavors without excessive volume.
Fashion Runway models typically tend to go for smaller implants-- more natural appearance. When agents call us with referrals- they always stress the importance of "natural look"-- not " over-exaggerated"... Stretch marks will not go away after breast augmentation. Please, read here for more info:
Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your photographs, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. Online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes.
I also would recommend sticking with the Moderate plus implants from allergan, if you do not want too much of an increase in size. An exam with measurements would be necessary to decide on how many cc's. We offer free consults at our richmond office. Call 804-290-0909 if you would like to schedule one.
Thank you for your question and photos. There is no specific size that would be appropriate for modelling. It is important to be careful with increasing your breast size too much as it may cause difficulty in certain styles of clothing fitting. Unfortunately, breast augmentation will not decrease the appearance of your stretch marks but can actually make them look somewhat more visible by stretching the skin. Consider seeking an in person consultation to further discuss your options.
The bestcosmetic result in any particular breast augmentation patient depends on avariety of factors, including: Your individual anatomy, realistic expectations,a thorough discussion with the plastic surgeon about the options, and anunderstanding of the pros and cons of any particular implant choice. Propersizing is not just about the number of cc’s. The thickness of your tissue, breast dimensions which include thewidth, height, and projection, as well as chest wall width all need to beconsidered when choosing an implant. Trying on implant “sizers” of variousshapes and volumes while wearing a tight t-shirt, bra, or bathing sit at a preoperativevisit will help you and your surgeon choose the optimal implant. There are no manufacturers' standards for cup sizing in the bra industry. Thecups of a 30 B or C and a 36 B or C are significantly different. Cup size varies frommanufacturer to manufacturer and even within styles from any particularmanufacturer.Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any otherwebsite who proposes to tell you exactly what to do without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a fullmedical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedurewould not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeoncertified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of theAmerican Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and arecomfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.Robert Singer, MD FACSLa Jolla, California
