Is it safe to inject under eye filler after sclerotherapy treatment under the eye?

We are very conscious with injection of any sclerosing agent near the eyes. this is a really dangerous way to get read of unwanted veins near the eyes. We usually like to remove them with surgical intervention or cauterization. sclerosing agents can cause blindness. 

Hi Crystal.  These two treatments should be relatively independent of each other.  The only reason we can think of that there may be an issue is if the filler was placed in the same location as the vein and somehow camouflaged the vein to make it more difficult to see.  If you are having the sclero first then this should not be an issue.  Best of luck.  

I recommend waiting until you are completely healed from the sclerotherapy treatment before having fillers.  Depending on the situation that could be up to 4 weeks.  I encourage you to speak with the doctor treating you with sclerotherapy for more information.

I would recommend waiting until the swelling and any bruising has resolved from the sclerotherapy before using filler. This will allow the tissue volume to settle so you have an accurate blueprint of what areas require filler. Hope this helps!

I would consult with your injector and provider that will be performing sclerotherapy on you for their opinion. Filler is safe to inject after the treatment but a buffer window of at least two weeks is recommended.
