I've delayed my cheek augmentation progress because a fair amount of doctors have commented that (a) 0.5 syringe/cheekbone won't be enough and (b) Restylane may not be the best choice for my cheekbone augmentation. How do Restylane Lyft and Juvederm Voluma compare in terms of cheekbone augmentation? Assuming I still get the procedure done, I'd like to know which filler would yield the best, longest-lasting, and most visible results. Thank you.
Answer: Voluma vs Restylane Lyft for cheeks These are 2 very different products. Restylane Lyft is a true lifting agent with a coefficient of lifting twice that of Voluma. It is great for any individual who needs any sort of lifting in the face but still very soft and natural looking. It is especially good for under eye hollows, tear troughs, and cheeks. The FDA approves it to last one year but the lift is superior to a Voluma lift. Voluma is a hyaluronic acid, like Restylane Lyft, and the FDA approves it for lasting 2 years. It is a softer product than Lyft. For some this is a selling point, and for others, it's not. Because it's soft, it's hard to overdo. But, for the same reason, it's softness requires twice the number of syringes to give the same result as Lyft so it can be twice the cost. It's lifting ability is also half that of Lyft thus requiring more product to create a lift. On average, a person needs 5 syringes of Voluma to equal the lift created from 3 syringes of Lyft. If you're looking for a lift, then go with LYFT.

Answer: Restylane Lift vs Voluma for cheeks Both fillers are excellent for cheeks as they have high G primes. They use different cross linking technology and the duration of both should be at least a year (although Voluma claims around 2 years). Best Dr Shah

Answer: Restylane Lyft vs. Juvederm Voluma for cheekbone augmentation? Fillers are done in the office and are temporary, lasting 12 to 24 months. An implant lasts longer, but not forever, and there is surgery and anesthesia and the complications are increased with invasive procedures. Lyft, and Voluma are similar in results.Best wishes, Dr. ALDOO

Answer: Both are similar Hello Stacy,Thank you for your question. Both products are similar and last approximately 15 months (in my experience). I would really recommend you seeking an in-office evaluation with a doctor who is experienced in fillers and focuses on them. You can decide with your provider the best course of action to meet your desired goals. Hope this helps. All the best,Carlos Mata, MD, MBA, FACSBoard-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Fillers Such as Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, Silk, Radiesse, Sculptra, Bellafill; Fat Transfer/Renuva Cheeks do best with more robust fillers like renuva, voluma, restylane lyft or bellafill. Best, Dr. Emer.
