When I laugh, my nose looks ugly. I don't know why?

A well designed rhinoplasty by a specialist rhinoplasty surgeon could change your facial appearance and smile problems. It's a very common complaint to have the nose drooping when one smiles. This is correctable, however side way movement is a function of many facial muscles that animate the mouth. This problem usually does not resolve after rhinoplasty. Hope this helps.

The rhinoplasty procedure is performed at rest, not upon animation.  If the tip of the nose droops when smiling, releasing the depressor septi ligament is required at the time of the rhinoplasty procedure. It is very difficult to prevent the nose from widening with smiling, due to the muscle attachments to the nose. if the nose is significantly wide at rest, it can be narrowed.
