I have good cheekbones naturally, but have wanted to further emphasize them. I had 1 syringe of voluma 1 month ago (split b/w my chin & cheeks). I noticed a great difference w/ my chin, but nothing w/ my cheeks. I thought it was bcuz we only used .5 between both cheeks & i needed more.. So, i got another syringe today. I just got home and i can still barely see any difference! Whats going on? Should i go to a new DR..Do i need more? Does it just not work for me? I feel like Ive wasted $2000...
Answer: Fillers Good question and lot of clients want to know how much volume needs to be added to make the difference, if your cheeks are already full then to enhance them even more you would need much more volume compared to people who have volume loss significantly already. Chin area is different -sinec not much tissue between the bone and skin even little volume added with make the difference. I am sure your injector is fully qualified and if you had good results with chin, that means the injector knows what he is doing. Its just the matter of adding more volume.

Unfortunately without a full series of before and after images it is difficult to offer definite advice and I would counsel you to see your injector to review your concerns. At a minimum you should see some change as a result of your tissue swelling, your long term results may take 2-4 weeks to develop. Hope this helps.

Answer: Unhappy with Cheek Augmentation with Fillers (Radiesse, Voluma, Bellafill)--Sculptra, implants, fat This is difficult to answer without pictures. Keep in mind, it takes 1-2 weeks for final results with Voluma. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Answer: Little difference after Voluma The overall result of filler is dependent on the quantity used and most importantly the placement in the correct anatomical plane and area. With cheek filler, the placement will depend on the outcome the client is looking for which in your case was to emphasise your cheekbones. In this instance Voluma should be placed higher onto the cheekbones themselves to provide the lift, if too much of the Voluma is placed in the apple area of the cheek you will not get the end result of emphasised cheekbones you were looking for.
