I have a high hairline and sloping forehead. What treatment options do I have?

I really want to make my forehead shorter/ bring my hairline lower. I have my uncles and my father hairline, who all have hair but they have this ‘M’ hair line where the sides of their hairline recede back, but they’re definitely not bald. My entire hairline even the center is very high and my sloping back forehead makes it even worse. I’m 24 yrs old....I don’t know if I will recede some hair or not. Like I said nobody is bald in my family. What kind of permanent surgery fixes long forehead/hairline?

For young men, a scalp advancement or a surgical forehead reduction may be an issue if you go on to lose more hair due to genetic male pattern recession.
It is best to see a doctor for a consultation to explore your options.

Hair transplant procedures can help to lower and alter male hairlines, as long as they are done purposefully with consideration of the patient's future.  A hair transplant procedure involves transplanting the hair follicles from the back and sides of the head (where the hair typically does not fall out and is not responsive to the hair loss hormone DHT) to the thinning or balding areas of the scalp.  All the best,

Early hair loss in males.  do nothing now until you know what your hair loss is going to be. It could be extensive five years from now or less but hair loss is always progressive. You want to know how much donor area you will have before beginning. At that time you can decide whether you want hair transplants or a hair flap.

I recommend hair transplant for you because you're young and we don't know how your hair loss will progress. forehead reduction is not usually recommended for most men because if you lose your hair then the incision becomes visible
