Thank you for your photos and questions. I think you would find a nice improvement with fillers. They work to disguise irregularities in the contour under the eye. Another non surgical option is ALMI. In this procedure your own tissue is used to add volume to hollow areas. It also helps improve skin tone and texture.
Under eye bags can be permanently corrected with surgery or temporarily camouflaged with fillers. There are great non-surgical options to fill in under eye depressions and hollowness. Using dermal fillers, a liquid eye-lift can be performed. A dermal filler such as Restylane would be placed in the cheek and tear trough to hide the depression or bag underneath your eye.Surgery would require a fat-repositioning lower lid blepharoplasty. In this surgical procedure, fat from the eye area is moved into the tear trough depression filling the actual depression. Cost will vary and can be discussed at your consultation.I hope this helps!
You have under eye orbital fat bags. The best long-term treatment is transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. It is important to maintain normal eye shape and function and not to get sunken hollow eyes after.
Fat pads need skin care, fillers, lasers and microneedling for improvement. I suggest a formal consult sometimes surgery is needed but can be done quite easily. Best, Dr. Emer
That is the normal cushion of fat that is your malar fat pad. If you actually found someone to remove that, you would destroy what makes your cheek look youthful. The problem here is that you have a visible groove, That is the mid cheek groove. The best option here is hyaluronic acid filler. The filler you need is Restylane which holds where it is placed. Service will last about a year before needing to be topped off. The service is fussy so you need a fussy injector to place this product. Do not get talked into grafted fat for "permanent" filler. These damage the glide function of the cheek when you smile. You will be very unhappy with that damage and it is irreversible.
From your photos, your under eye fat bags appear to be mild. You have two options.1. You may be able to smooth the area with injectable filler so that the bags are not noticeable.2. Remove the fat through either an incision behind the eyelid (scarless blepharoplasty) or through a small incision underneath the eyelashes (can also remove skin with this incision if needed).Your PS should be able to help guide you after an examination. Good luck.
I would recommend a consult with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery . Eye bags are not always age related but can be inherited and are due to anatomy around the lower eyelid than can be imoirved with a lower eyelid blepharoplasty
you have mid cheek grooves. You can’t see them when you’re young because you have a lot of facial fat. As fat goes away with age, they start appearing. Sometimes they are genetic and young people have them. Fillers or fat grafting work well to hide them. We are happy to see you for a consult if you would like a full assessment and detailed discussion on all the option. Best wishes.
Every situation differs based upon anatomy. You have 'wide' orbits/eye sockets; so that you do no want to remove fat or the eyes look more 'hollow' as you age. So use well placed and small droplets of filler deeper into the tissues for the best result at this point
