Lower bleph surgery and still bruised two weeks later. Will this go away? (photos)

Thank you for your question and photos. Your bruising can be treated with a laser called a V-beam. Usually one or two session will resolve the bruise in a day or two. I would ask your surgeon to refer you to a local dermatologist that has the laser.As for the redness on the eyeball, this will resolve in time. It is not dangerous and will have no longterm effects.

Bruising is very unpredictable.  A little bit of blood tracked up under the conjunctiva so the eye looks red.  This will go away.   There is not a lot there, so probably just a few more days.  Unfortunately we don't have anything to speed that up.  For the lower lid bruise - there are some lasers that will help to get the bruise to resolve more quickly.   If your surgeon does not have lasers, they may be able to refer you to someone who does.  It will also eventually go away on its' own.  The laser just gets it to go away sooner.   

I am sorry that you are going through this.  I know how frustrating it can be to have a cosmetic surgery you anticipated having minimal recovery, and it is already 14 days post surgery with significant bruising.
The bruising over the scleral of your eye is just a continuation of the cutaneous bruising that you have below your eye.  Eyelid bruises get lighter and lighter over time, but may take several weeks for most of the discoloration to dissipate.  Unfortunately, I have seen bruising from a mask squeeze in a scuba diver last several months.  The redness in your eye should be gone in less than another 10 days.  
Each plastic surgeon has his or her own paradigm for dealing with this type of minor annoyance.  Your personal plastic surgeon is, of course, the best source of post surgical information.

Bruising after eyelid surgery can be frustrating but is fairly common. The redness of the eye is called subconjunctival hemorrhage and is also fairly common. Although these areas of bruising don't look great they are temporary and will not negatively alter your long term result.  Be patient.  This too shall pass.
