Eyes too round after eyelid surgery

The surgery placed the new crease too high.  Too much skin was left between the new crease and the eyelashes, the surgery caused upper eyelid ptosis, and now you have severe lash ptosis that shades the cornea.  The ptosis suggests that the levator aponeurosis, then tendon in the eyelid that raises the eye, was disinserted or damaged by the surgery.  This is shockingly common.  With this loss of lid support, the eyelid falls and so do the lashes.  This makes the eyes look dull.  This also makes it possible to reconstruct the eyelid crease and effectively lower it.  However, it is also essential to correct the eyelash ptosis to leave the eyelid jewel like.  You need a very specialized surgeon for this type of work.  I recommend starting with several consultations.  Carefully listen to what is being told to you to be certain that your potential surgeon can actually get this work done.  My free ebook on eyelid surgery cited below has more information on this subject.

It is best to see an oculoplastic specialist for in person evaluation. Further surgery may or may not be the answer. 

I agree the crease is too high (typically it's 7mm, not 10mm for the crease) and the eyes are not opening all the way (ptosis). The extra fold in the left side of the photograph (presumably your right eye, unless the image is reversed) needs to be erased and the crease reset entirely. This usually requires an inner corner correction (inner epi, or medial epicanthoplasty) unless you want to keep the crease very small. Your situation is relatively straightforward for a specialist in Asian eyelid surgery. I would recommend someone who does this on a regular basis.
