I am half Korean, with an already existing lid crease. When my eyes aren't puffy, the area bellow the crease is completely swallowed up by the overhanging skin. When my eyes are puffy, my eyelid space increases and my eyes look much bigger. My face looks nicer when this happens. If my understanding is correct, upper blepharoplasty can lessen the skin hanging down that covers my lid. Can it also increase the size of lid, below the crease, maybe by moving my eyelid crease a bit higher somehow?

Answer: Upper eyelid surgery candidate A very conservative upper eyelid surgery can raise the fold slightly by removing a small amount of skin. The incision is usually located directly in the existing skin crease. An upper blepharoplasty lessens the amount of skin hanging down that the covers the eyelid.
