I see a lot of ladies on here saying they have gotten lipo and bbl at the same time. Does that mean they get the regular BBL and then lipo some areas that will not be transitioned into the butt area?

Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift/ Fat grafting/Liposuction/ High Definition Procedures/Butt Implants I appreciate your question. I specialize in Brazilian Butt lifts and body contouring procedures. The popular ‘Brazilian Butt Lift’ procedure is utilizes fat grafting to augment the curves of the gluteal region and accentuate the contour from lower back to buttocks. It is an excellent method for augmenting and lifting the buttocks and provides a beautiful, natural result. The procedure is performed by harvesting fat from unwanted areas of the body with liposuction and injecting it into buttocks. For individuals desiring a BBL but do not have enough fat available to be harvested, gluteal implants may be an excellent option for augmenting and enhancing the contour of the buttocks. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Dramatic Definition A “Brazilian butt lift” has become a popular procedure and can produce dramatic changes in the appearance of the waistline and buttock. It is important to understand that the liposuction performed during the procedure can have as dramatic effect if not a more dramatic effect on your buttock contour as the fat actually injected into the buttock. One of the most important relationships in the lower body shape is the waist to hip ratio. A waist to hip ratio of 0.7 (meaning the waist is considerably narrower than the hips) is seen by many as attractive. Obtaining dramatic results often requires performing liposuction in the lower abdomen circumferentially to produce the narrow waistline. The liposuctioned fat is then used to add fullness to specific areas in the buttock to produce the contours that are desired. The procedure can be quite powerful in changing the lower body shape when performed thoughtfully by a plastic surgeon who has experience with the nuances of the procedure. Good luck!
