Hi, While I was taking off my shirt I bumped the tip of my nose with my hand. I felt a high level of pain the first seconds then nothing. I can not measure how strong the hit was but I felt like a punch in my face, I'm aware that after the surgery my sensation increase so I don't really know if I should worry or not. At the moment I feel something but 0 pain. May I have caused any damage ? Thanks.

Answer: Bump After Rhinoplasty Hello, Based on what you are saying, it doesn't sound as if the hit to your nose was severe enough to cause any damage. Although you are still fairly swollen, if you do not see any deformation or deviation of your nose then you should be fine. Swelling can camouflage displacement of the bones but this is unlikely even at this point as you do not see any changes in the shape. I recommend visiting your surgeon and letting him perform an examination so that he may reassure you. Regards,

Answer: Bump after surgery Thanks for your question. The injury you are describing sounds unlikely to have caused any last damage to your surgical result. That being said, the best option would likely be to schedule a follow-up with your operating plastic surgeon. That way, you and your doctor can make sure your recovery proceeds smoothly as planned. All the best.
