I had Botox done for the first time yesterday to fix the cobblestone look of my chin that has bothered me for years. I wanted the filler Juvederm Ultra Plus but I was informed that it would not fix the problem, that Botox would be the best option so I took the advice. A day later this is what happened to my chin. Now I have an indented bump and looks worse than before. Is this normal? I

Botox works well for the masseter muscle and 25 units usually works extremely well for this area. You may need a repeat injection in two weeks if you find this not effective to shrink this muscle and slim the face effectively. Best, Dr. Green
It is very unusual to be sick after a Botox treatment. I would suggest following up with your family doctor.Otherwise you should be evaluated by a board certified dermatologist experienced in this procedure to advise you properly and address your concerns.
