I had voluma touch-up (1 syringe) for cheeks. What are the risks if I go back to moderate to strenuous workout (invlolving high blood pressure i.e cycling) after 24hrs? Will the injection migrate or the workout restriction (if any) is due to bruising only? Thanks!

Answer: Exercise after Voluma I advise patients to stay away from strenuous activity for 24 hours after Voluma injection. This is primarily due to the risk of potential bruising. Exercise following injections should not cause the filling material to migrate in anyway. Exercise during the months following filler can result in a faster metabolism of filling agent.

Answer: Exercise following filler You should be set to go 1 day after filler. I would not expect the filler to move or migrate based upon exercise the day after your injection. Enjoy the results! Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment so please see a Board Certified or Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon to evaluate if you may benefit. Good luck!
