Dr. Albino is truly a master of his craft and considered the top plastic surgeon in the DC area for good reason! I could not be happier with my results and experience. I have had multiple surgeries with Dr. Albino including facelift, blepharoplasty, laser skin resurfacing, breast lift, liposuction, and abdominoplasty. These were performed in different surgeries over the past 5 years but each time I have been thrilled with my results. The Center for Plastic Surgery is the all-around best practice with amazing staff. From the very first consultation, I felt confident with their expertise, attention to detail and genuine care. Whether I went in for skincare, injections, consultations for surgery, the entire staff was extremely knowledgeable, caring and true professionals. Everyone was so helpful, everything was always explained so well, lots of options available and always offered a clear understanding and expectation of desired results. I can't say enough good things about the Doctors and complete staff!
Dr. Albino handled what many other doctors told me would be a difficult surgery with apparent ease and excellent results. He made me feel very comfortable in his care. In my opinion, Dr. Albino is the best plastic surgeon in the DC area for breast reconstruction.
He performed an abdominoplasty, breast reduction, and lipo. To be honest, I couldn’t be happier with my results. Dr. Albino, Shiloh his coordinator, and CPS staff did such a great job of answering all my questions and trust me I had a lot of them! They never got irritated, always got back with me with a smile and gave me a lot of encouragement when I was going through the healing process. The last thing I will say is Dr. Albino has the best bedside manners, just so genuine, competent, personable and caring. Go see him, he never disappoints.
All I can say is WOW!!!! My experience with Dr. Albino was incredible. My procedure was an abdominoplasty with Lipo, and the results are amazing! I have a whole new body (hourglass HELLO!) and have lost 12 pounds since surgery. HIs bedside manner is excellent. The booklet they give you walks you through every step of the way to include the roller coaster ride of feelings that you will experience. Recovery is no joke, so make sure you have an excellent support system. I'm glad I chose Dr. Albino for my procedure.
Albino is an amazing doctor! His eye for aesthetics is that of a Greek sculpture. I have been getting filler and Botox for the last decade (been to numerous doctors) and he’s truly the crème de la crème. I am beyond pleased with his services and bedside manner. I have seen so many plastic surgeons over the years (some of the best, mind you), and is truly in a league of his own. He was very honest, and practical, in terms of what was needed or not needed. I won’t be surprised if he’s one of the top plastic surgeons of the DMV in years to come. All in all, the entire office was a great experience and can’t thank him enough for the work fixing a few of my little insecurities. When I get future work done, I will not hesitate going to him again.
I was referred to Dr Albino by my breast physician. 12 years ago, I underwent a mastectomy/reconstruction and was in need of a replacement implant. I had put off this procedure for a very long time, but after meeting with Dr Albino and his staff, my fears dissolved. Dr Albino was professional and trustworthy in every sense of the word. He gave honest advice, and made certain all of my questions were addressed. During my consultation, I felt like I was talking with a friend who truly had my best interest at heart. His staff was equally impressive. They exceeded my expectations in every way possible. As a result of this phenomenal team, and to balance the breasts, Dr Albino performed a right side replacement, and a left side breast lift. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Dr Albino did an amazing job !!!
Dr. Albino is more than a surgeon, he is an artist. He is truly gifted in what he does. Truth be told, I had initially scheduled my breast reduction with Dr. Albino last year. I then promptly...chickened out. Fast forward to late this summer after my first mammogram. I reconsidered my decision to hold off on the surgery (that was already 30 years too late). I found my way back to Dr. Albino's office. I cannot say enough about the care that not only he provided to me, but his entire staff. From Pre-Op Nurse, Lindsey to his Patient Coordinator, Shiloh, the time and overall quality of care that they provided to me was well, in a word, outstanding. And the results of the surgery? I could not be more pleased. To anyone out there reading this that has contemplated breast reduction surgery but for whatever reason has hesitated to make the appointment....don't be like me and wait. You can thank me later.
My experience with Dr. Albino was amazing. He did Botox for me. He was gentle and no pain. He explained everything to me and very experienced. He also had great bedside manners. I was very pleased with my results.
After having a baby, breastfeeding, and suffering from an umbilical hernia that created a lot of excess stomach skin following its removal, I started researching options to get my body back. From the moment I stepped foot inside of the Center for Plastic Surgery for a Mommy Makeover consultation, Dr. Albino and staff displayed a level of warmth and genuine care that captured my attention. Dr. Albino walked me through what to expect from beginning to end. His attention to detail and to what I was seeking to achieve made me very comfortable. I decided to move forward with Dr. Albino and was not disappointed! All aspects of the process were exactly as described and went very smoothly. I love my results and feel like a new woman :)
Dr. Albino performed an absolutely outstanding job with my liposuction on multiple problem areas (back, flanks, hips, abdomen, thighs, knees). I am beyond elated and impressed with the phenomenal results that Dr. Albino achieved with my procedure! Additionally, Dr. Albino and his staff could not have been more kind, helpful, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate as we worked on the best next steps towards effective body contouring for me. It's so comforting to know that with such a financial, physical, and emotional investment, Dr. Albino genuinely and endlessly extends his kindness along with his unparalleled skills in surgical artistry to his patients!
Thank you for this question. Tough problem to fix! I would recommend going smaller in the 500cc range and supporting the implant medially (over the sternum) and inferiorly (along the bottom fold) with mesh to keep the implants from moving. Thank you for this question. It is difficult to comment without seeing your nipple position before surgery. There are a number of reasons why the nipple may appear high and you should check with your breast surgeon to see if you have developed capsular contracture. You may simply need an areolar reduction which can be designed to lower the nipple and bring more to the center/midline. Thank you for your questions. This depends on the specifics where you reside. I believe NYC is similar to DC, where I practice, and Medicaid does cover breast augmentation for gender dysphoria as long as you are adherent to the WPATH guidelines. Excellent question. The short answer is yes, there are different techniques used. Bottom line is that we want to minimize the risk of an implant becoming visible. For women with very minimal breast tissue we typically will place the implant partially under the pectoralis major muscle. Is it the loss of projection of your nipple that bothers you? Express this to your plastic surgeon. He/she may be able to inject filler or some fat to increase nipple projection without causing puffy appearance to the chest/breast tissue.
