Hi! I have an appendectomy scar from when I was 5 years old....I’m a small girl (work out daily, eat healthy) but the scar on my stomach is kind of unsightly, protruding over the scar line. I’d love to get it fixed and some lipo in my lower abdomen to achieve a really flat stomach. Does this seem possible? I’d prefer to not do a mini tummy tuck as I haven’t had kids yet.

It seems that the scar tissue is stuck to the underlying muscle. You can have liposuction of the abdomen and a scar revision. It is important to excise the present scar and advance and suture the underlying fat together to prevent the skin from scarring down to the muscle again.See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation.
