I want a sleeve tattoo but my arms are no longer slim in he forearm area. Is it to dangerous to get lipo there and what are the risks.
Answer: Is it safe to get lipo on your forearm? More about Liposuction Some people do have a lipodystrophic forearm and this can be liposuctioned with similar skills to calf and ankle liposuction. If you can pinch about 1.5 cm, you can have fat removed with small cannulae. I would have to see pictures or examine you to make a determination.

Answer: Lipo Candidate - VASER HD, J Plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite tightening, fat grafting for buttock lift/BBL, Cellfina/Sculptra forearm liposuction needs an expert. I suggest only seeing someone with experience. it is safe and done frequently. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Answer: Liposuction candidate Dear Miami4, It is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: High definition VASER liposuction It is possible to get high definition VASER liposuction in the arms. The Gold Standard for superior liposuction results requires use of the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I perform full body liposuction cases every week. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently resulted in outstanding liposuction outcomes. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of degree of excess fat by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. If skin redundancy is observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Forearm liposuction There’s nothing about forearms that makes liposuction dangerous or difficult. I typically at least blend the forearms when I do arm liposuction and I do arm liposuction at least once a week. For those who have a fat distribution that includes there for a Arms liposuction of this area works well. It’s fairly uncommon to do liposuction of the forearm and not include the arm. What’s more likely at least in my practice is Arm liposuction including parts or all of the forearm based on that individual persons that distribution and weight.Treating the forearms leads to increased hand swelling especially if tight compression garments are used after. This can be alleviated by keeping the hands above the heart or using appropriate tension compression garments.I’m not sure how other plastic surgeons feel about this. I have no particular issue treating forearms. They are far easier than treating areas like calves and ankles. My practice has been devoted exclusively to liposuction and fat transfer procedures for well over a decade.Arm including forearm liposuction gives high-quality consistent great results in my practice.liposuction results are however varied among different providers such as your provider carefully.you can take a look at some of my arm liposuction results posted on real south. All of them had forms included at least to some degree. They were not treated as primary areas but rather the liposuction was blended. Probably 5 to 10% of the total liposuction volume came from the forearms. i’ve done forearms only on patients who had previous arm liposuction leaving them slightly unbalanced or the forearm is now larger than the distal arm.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
