Hi, thank you for your question. Liposuction is a great tool for treating love handles and contouring your shape. It is not the ideal treatment for lipomas. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. To provide a valid medical opinion I will need to see pictures of you body from different angles. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Thank you for your question! You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. You will likely need to lose weight first before undergoing any cosmetic procedure to get the best outcome. For best results, it is recommended to be at your ideal or stable weight before getting a sculpting liposuction procedure. Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure; rather, it is for sculpting, defining and removing problem areas that cannot be removed with weight loss, diet and exercise alone. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin. In the meantime, I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a bariatric doctor or dietitian. Best, Dr. Emer
Thanks for your question. The lipoma can be treated with an excision / drainage. The love handles can be treated with liposuction by removing the excess fat in the area. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. A key quality indicator is Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
The love handles can be liposuctioned while blending the liposuction into the abdomen to prevent irregularity. Localized fatty deposition can be improved with liposuction, and that area will be less likely to reaccumulate fat.The only way to treat lipomas (fatty accumulations beneath the skin) is to surgically excise them.Nearly always harmless, you might want to remove them merely for aesthetic reasons.
Thank you for your question. Liposuction is an excellent way to help shrink love handles. A lipoma, which is a well defined fatty "tumor", is best treated with surgical excision. It is best to visit a board certified plastic surgeon who can accurately diagnose your problem and offer you options for treatment.
Dear AlbaLady,Liposuction is a good option to contour love handles. In case of lipoma, surgical removal is the best option. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Hello and thank you for your question. Photos would be useful to give you a better advice. Liposuction is excellent in taking care of 'love handles'. Ideal candidates for liposuction have a normal or close to normal BMI, they have stubborn areas of adiposity that they can't get rid of despite adequate diet and exercise, and have a good skin tone with no significant stretch marks. It is important to keep in mind that liposuction is not a weight loss surgery, and is more of a tool to re-shape the body. After liposuction, patients should continue to have a healthy life style with balanced diet and exercise to maintain your body weight. I would seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation and advice. Best,Pejman Aflaki, M.D.Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Yes, liposuction can help you to improve your waist by eliminating your flank's extra fat. The lipoma needs to be surgically removed In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Thank you for sharing your concern with us. I recommend you to loose weight before considerate get these procedures done. You must be a healthy person, within an appropriate BMI of below 30, for safety reasons, to be a good candidate for the procedures you want at the same time, your labs and...
This is likely a question you should address with your plastic surgeon prior to surgery. A two day recovery is pretty unrealistic for just about any procedure.
Lipo 360 and Lipo HD are both advanced liposuction techniques used in cosmetic surgery, but they differ in their goals and areas of focus:Lipo 360 (360-degree liposuctiona.) Is primarily focused on sculpting the entire midsection of the body. It involves liposuction of the abdomen, waist,...
