I would highly recommend Dr Holley! He took time to answer all my questions and concerns, he went over all my options and what would be best for me. I was able to return to work 3 days after surgery with only minor muscle tightness. He exceeded all my expectations and I couldn't be happier with his work. I would choose him all over again! I can't thank him enough for giving me my confidence back!
I have been following this site for a few years now. I have 3 children ages ranging rom 5-10.5 years old. I did extended breastfeeding with all of them and ended up breastfeeding for 9 years in total. I had always talked with my husband about wanting to have implants after finishing up breastfeeding as a gift to myself to perk things back up again. So about 4 years ago I started following this site to begin the research phase. All of the stories and pictures have been SO helpful, so thank you to everyone who has shared their journey!! I am 5'8" and 130 pounds. I was a 32c-34b before surgery. I ended up deciding on 475/500 high profile, round Mentor implants. One of my breasts is slightly larger than the other, so this was to even things out. I had my surgery yesterday. I am swollen and sore, but not as bad as I would have expected. I think maybe it's because my breasts have stretched like this before with breastfeeding. I got up to a 32DDD with breastfeeding and loved my size then. My worst pain is in my sternum and my incision lines. I am trying to take it easy, but our house is busy with 3 younger kids. My husband has been really supportive, so hoping the next few weeks of recovery go well. Please offer any advice if you have any. Currently they are hard, high and sore. But I think I am happy with the results. I am excited to see how they start to settle. Updated on 23 May 2019: Yesterday was the day of surgery. I was terrified going in! Everything went pretty smoothly though and I woke up with big changes! The pain was pretty tolerable at first. It hurt the most in my sternum area, more pressure than pain at first. Here's a few pictures a few hours after I got home. Updated on 30 May 2019: Swollen, sore, and bloated! Updated on 30 May 2019: 3 days post. Bloated pretty badly, very sore and very swollen. The first day was a breeze compared with this day. Had to work, but I have an office job so I tried to move gently and not push myself too much and made it a short day. Super thankful for a long weekend! They feel huge and honesty I am not sure if I made the right decision. Major second thoughts, but my husband reminded me that the doctor told me I would feel that way... Updated on 30 May 2019: Today was the worst day for me. I felt extremely bloated, my breasts were the most swollen and painful today, and I was irritable from the pain meds. I had major second thoughts about this procedure and wondered if I had made a huge mistake. Sleeping on my back is rough (I’m always a stomach sleeper), so my rest hasn’t been great and my mood is just off. My husband has been great about reminding me that the doctor said I would hate them the first week and then love them. We’ll see. My husband didn’t care at all if I got them to begin with. I have been the one pushing this decision the whole time. He’s been supportive of whatever decision I wanted. Now that I have them, he thinks they look great and I am not sure!!! Will keep you posted! Updated on 30 May 2019: Yesterday was the worst, but today I started feeling better about them. In clothes, it doesn’t look any different because I had been wearing padded bras from VS. Had family over today and no one seemed to notice anything different, so I was thankful for that. Once I actually tried on a cute bralette vs surgical bra, I was finally starting to really like them!! Naked, I feel like they’re HUGE, but in clothes, they look modest. I have been cutting out my pain meds because they make me so moody. All in all, this is the first day I feel like I’m starting to trend upward! Updated on 30 May 2019: Had my second post op today. Got my stitches out and surgical tape off. He said they are looking great. I asked about weird heart palpitations I’ve been having for the last few days. He said he wasn’t concerned and hasn’t really heard of that as a side effect before. Has anyone had anything like that after their surgery? I have had palpitations in the past that have come and gone, but these have been consistent for a few days. I thought maybe my pain meds were causing them, but I haven’t taken anything in 2 days. Anyway, if anyone has experienced this, let me know. If not, weird complication for me! The pain is pretty manageable today. I have been doing pretty much my normal routine again except working out. He cleared me for that today if I don’t do any weights or use my arms much. Also no running. I really like how they’re coming along though and they don’t look huge in clothes. Updated on 30 May 2019: Here are the pictures! I forgot to add them with my post. Updated on 8 Jun 2019: They have been dropping and softening. The pain is getting better, but my nipples hurt so much if anything touches them! My doctor has told me to lay on my stomach for 5-10 min a day. At first it was so painful, but now not a big deal at all. They are starting to feel a lot more a part of me, but I still have a long way to go in that regard. I am happy with how they are progressing. I don’t think anyone has noticed at all. I haven’t worn any clothing that makes it really obvious. I’ll keep you updated. Updated on 20 Jun 2019: 4 week post. Most of the pain is gone. They are looking a lot more natural now. I love them!! My nipples are pretty sensitive still. The scars are healing well. I’m using scar cream on them every day. I have been sleeping on my stomach again and it feels completely normal again! In clothes, they look modest and proportional. Without clothes, they are the perfect size. I have started running again. They don’t bounce much yet, and I am hoping that doesn’t really change. I love running and was afraid to get the size I did because I didn’t want to affect that. My PS said it shouldn’t be a problem if I wore a very supportive sports bra, but that I shouldn’t go any bigger than what I ended up going with. I got measured at Victoria’s Secret last week and am a 32DDD so I can still find pretty bras! Also, someone messaged me asking for ideas of my size when I was breastfeeding as they are considering this procedure before kids. I am adding a picture of that time for me. I measured 32DDD also when I was breastfeeding. I loved my size then and am happy to have it back again. Updated on 2 Aug 2019: I feel pretty much back to normal now. Exercising again and feeling like they are mine now. I sleep on my stomach again all the time and have most feeling back. There are still times I can’t feel very light touch on the top of one of my nipples, but I can feel pretty much everything else. I love the size. I can run without trouble and they look modest when I’m fully clothed and nice when naked or in a swimming suite. When I was professionally measured for a bra at VS, I was a 32DDD. I’m posting a few pictures in a bra from VS that is a 32DD, so it’s a little small, but makes for some great cleavage and also one in my sports bra.
I recently completed my 2nd session of Cool Sculpting and my 2nd micro needling treatment. I am thrilled! Being a comparative shopper, I "interviewed" several local Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Holley and his amazing team offered great treatment options, a professional, fun atmosphere, and didn't try to "sell" me results that were unattainable. I felt very comfortable going into the procedures with realistic expectations, knowing I wouldn't get facelift results from micro needling and that my cool sculpting may require additional treatments. Honesty is the true value! So happy with the treatments and results!
My cool sculpting experience was exactly as expected. The staff was knowledgeable, informative, and supportive. They answered all my questions and provided all the information I needed. The procedure was painless and I began to see results after the first week. I am very happy happy with the results and would definitely recommend Dr. Holley to all my friends! This reviewer received a gift card from RealSelf in exchange for their review
I had two area treated - my abdomen and inner thighs for a total of 6 treatments with Malorie the Physician Assistant. She did an amazing job & I felt totally pampered for the entire process from consultation to treatment. Results were amazing!
I got pregnant at 15 and delivered at 16. I didn’t have the chance to enjoy my youthful body because I had to hide my stretch marks. I had 3 more children after that and my stomach is stretched out. I’m know 40 years old and my kids are no longer little and this just feels like the right time. I’ve been wanting this since I was in my twenties! It’s my turn!! Updated on 14 Jan 2019: It’s the night before my surgery I am super excited I’m not as nervous as I thought I would be! I rented a electrical recliner and I have a walker to help me get around the house. My husband is going to be the one taking me to surgery and be with me through recovery so I’m super thankful for him and I also have friends and family praying for me!! I started a soft diet two days ago and also been taking some stool softener’s hopefully to help with the constipation people experience after being on anesthesia????????.I’m getting the Exparel shot that supposed to keep me numb up to four days after the surgery so hopefully this will help with my recovery as far as the pain goes. I will post about my thoughts on that once I’m in the recovery process and if I feel like it’s working! Until then see you on the flat side!!! Updated on 14 Jan 2019: Updated on 18 Jan 2019: My first evening home was really good of course I was walking hunched over but I could still walk I can use the restroom by myself with a walker. I’m so glad I got I rented a electrical recliner because that helped me get in and out of my chair and sleeping with much easier! My pain level the first evening was probably a 3 out of 10!!! Like I mentioned before I got the Exparel shot so I’m thinking that’s why I wasn’t in very much pain at all the first day and evening. The second day was tougher and I had more pain especially throughout the evening but I was only taking one Percocet every six hours and alternating with Tylenol. I did that to prevent from getting nausea and constipation. I’ve had NO nausea so my method worked !!I have been able to eat regularly since day one I made sure I ate crackers or. toast before I took my meds. I just had my three day post op appointment today everything’s looking good I have minimal swelling and no Leakage from my drainless TT. So so far my recovery has been easier than I thought I am thinking that having no drains also is helping with my comfortability. Updated on 18 Jan 2019: Updated on 18 Jan 2019: When I saw my stomach today it was as I thought, he warned me that when he sewed me up there was a lot of rippling because of how small I am and how he had to pull skin in ward from my sides to close me up properly. He said it supposed to get better over the next three months so hopefully it’s smoothed out at the bottom. I know this is a process and that’s not gonna look how I want right away. Updated on 20 Jan 2019: Today I was feeling so good I drove an hour away with a friend to a baby shower I was definitely tired out after that trip but I was sitting most of the time so not too worn out. I had more swelling yesterday than previous days and today feels about the same. I finally had a BM yesterday!!! I’m getting a little stir crazy having to sit around and do all this resting. I rotate Tylenol and ibuprofen for pain and take one Percocet before I go to bed at night and that has been plenty to manage the pain. Here are some pics from yesterday Updated on 20 Jan 2019: My experience with my plastic surgeon has been very positive. He’s very warm, kind and patient. He listened to my request but also help me to be realistic about what he could and couldn’t do. One of my main things is he performed a drainless TT and also used Exparel to help with post operative pain. I didn’t just want my TT look good but I wanted to have as much comfort as possible. The team he worked with, the Anesthesiologist down to the nurses and assistants were all so helpful and made me feel comfortable about everything. I just had a really good feeling and experience with him and his team! If there something that I do need to do fix anything after everything heals and settles I believe he would do what it took with in reason to make sure I am as happy with my results ! Updated on 26 Feb 2019: I’m feeling pretty much back to normal I’ve been at the gym working out doing isolated weightlifting of course I still cannot do exercises for my core for another couple weeks. I have been comfortably sleeping on my side for a couple weeks!! I don’t have any pain and my scar is healing really well I still experience swelling on and off but as of today no more compression I’m feeling really good right now really thankful for my experience and I think I look amazing so happy I did this Updated on 26 Feb 2019: Updated on 26 Feb 2019:
Dr. Holley is a fantastic plastic surgeon. I have always been very uncomfortable with my body and felt that I had more of a male figure. I was initially embarrassed to be seeing a plastic surgeon at 20 years old because I felt that nobody would take me seriously due to my age. Dr. Holley was very kind and considerate at both of my pre-op appointments. I am now 2 days post-op with 375 CC saline implants and I couldn’t be happier! The pain is manageable and my breast’s look amazing.
My first appointment went very well. He took the time to answer all my questions. He never made me feel rushed. I was very comfortable. I had breast augmentation and upper chest liposuction done on 06.26.18. Everything went well. Going to see him 06.29.18 appointment to make sure everything is healing correctly. I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend him.
Dr Holley is the epitome of the perfect plastic surgeon. Respectful, knowledgeable, comfortable and beyond talented. My consultation was not rushed in any way and dr Holley took the time to explain everything and answer all questions. He walked me through the steps and helped me pick the perfect size and style that I could be both confident and comfortable with. Surgery and recovery went amazingly smooth. And could not possibly be happier with the results. Happy doesn’t even cover it, I am ecstatic. Even my highest hopes did not touch how wonderfully confident and content I feel. Very natural look and feel. It has barely been two months since my surgery and I have zero pain and my scars are already disappearing. Again I just could not be more satisfied with every part of my experience as dr Holleys patient.
Best plastic surgeon around!! Dr Holley is very friendly and professional! I'm 4 weeks post op and couldn't asked for a better experience. Very minimal pain after surgery! Highly recommended to anyone looking to feel better about them selfs!
Hello and thank you for your question! CoolSculpting machines have the temperature automatically programmed. There should not be an option to change the temperature or a difference in price depending on the temperature. I would recommend using the CoolSculpting website to find a reputable specialist in your area to find out if you’re a good candidate and discuss your areas of concern. I hope this helps! Good luck.
Hello and thank you for your question! It is normal for breast implants to settle at different rates and can often take up to six months. There are several factors that can influence how quickly a breast implant drops such as size, how tight the pocket is, handedness, and muscle thickness among others. I would recommend discussing your concerns with your plastic surgeon. I hope this helps!
Hello and thank you for your question! Based on the photos you are an excellent candidate for liposuction and possibly a tummy tuck. Liposuction will remove excess fat while a tummy tuck will repair the muscle separation in the abdomen that occurs from having children and remove excess skin. I would recommend having an in-person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon so you can discuss your concerns, they can assess you and review your options. Best of luck!
Hello and thank you for your question! It is possible to have a belly button revision. I would recommend following up with your plastic surgeon to be evaluated and discuss your concerns. They can review all your options and recommend the best treatment plan. Good luck!
Hello and thank you for your question! CoolSculpting treatment may be done on the outside of the thighs as well as just beneath the buttocks. In order to be a good candidate for treatment on the outside thigh there must be a true “saddle bag” to treat. Treating directly over the buttocks is not an approved area. I would recommend seeing a CoolSculpting specialist to discuss your concerns and determine if you are a good candidate. Best of luck!
