Thank you for taking the time to answer my question! I was told I have a short distance from my areola to my breast fold. I want to make sure that my nipples aren’t too low when I get my breast augmentation. I am 12 BWD and from my own measurement, it is 5cm from my areola to my breast fold. I am hoping for mod+ profile. Aesthetics is more important to me than size! What can I do to make sure my nipples are in a good place? Will provide my breasts and my wish pic!
Answer: Choosing the right size and profile breast implants for you After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: Breasts If your photo is the first one, your nipples are in a good position now. However, your breast naturally sit somewhat low on your chest and the breast base cannot be raised. Placing the implant behind the muscle will give the appearance of a higher sitting breast and better upper breast fullness.

Answer: Lower pole stretch Ensure your breast skin below your nipple can stretch adequately to fit the implant. If not, you may be limited on how big the implant can be.

Answer: Nipple position From your provided photo it appears your nipples are currently in a good position. When the implants are placed they will settle naturally behind the nipple. It is unlikely that the nipples would turn down. That is more of a risk for those who need a lift but decide not to have one.
