I am trying to decide if I should go through with a breast augmentation. I am currently a C cup. I love my breasts but one is 62 cc smaller than the other. I am scheduled to get a 235 cc moderate plus silicone gummy in the smaller breast and 175 cc in the larger both under the muscle. I am debating not going through with it because I don't want people who feel my breasts to be able to tell. I'm really on the fence if fixing the asymmetry is worth it.
Answer: Breast implants Hello one of the most important thing that placement of implants. If you have breast tissue you need to the implants on the muscle but if you do not have enough breast tissue so we need to use your muscle to place implants

Answer: Breast augmentation and assymmetry Hello, thank you for your question. I say think about it some more and go for sizing. Have you considered a fat transfer to the smaller breast. It wont increase the size by much but if you are only looking to correct the asymmetry and want to feel natural then that maybe an option. If you want more volume in both and correct the asymmetry then go for the implant. You have to be happy with it. For more information about breast aug and fat transfer to the breasts check out our webpage.

Answer: Implants If you don't want to feel the implants, then don't choose the hard gummy implant, but one of the softer cohesive gel implants instead. Gummy implants are more firm than breast tissue.

Answer: Natural feeling after implants Thank you for your question. Typically once implants settle they feel really natural. Most patients won't complain about feeling the actual implants under the muscle. I would suggest speaking with your surgeon in person to discuss your concerns and hopefully they can ease your mind a bit more. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Feeling implants Placing the implant behind the muscle will disguise the upper portion of the implant. The entire implant will also be behind your breast tissue. The more breast tissue you have, the more coverage you'll have. A silicone implant feels more like breast tissue than a saline implant. The bottom line is there is no way to guarantee someone would not be able to feel the implant but you will have many "disguises" in place.
