The 'setting' of any dermal filler varies from patient to patient but I always inform my patients to neither love nor hate their filler for 2 weeks- Restylane Lyft, included.
Hi there! I’m Lauren, the aesthetic injector here at Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. Restylane Lyft typically takes about 1 to 2 weeks to settle into the treated area fully.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi @Kcarley36! It can take up to two weeks to see the final results from your filler treatment. Best of luck to you!
Hi,Thank you for your question.Generally speaking, fillers take about 2 weeks to "set" or settle. This it the time for the product to integrate into the tissue and for tissue swelling and bruising to resolve. Certain areas may have a longer "settling" time such as the tear troughs.Hope that helps!
The effect is immediate however, there is swelling when you initially inject it. I find that the filler usually looks its best about a week after injection when it's integrated into the tissue and the swelling is gone.
It can take up to two weeks to see the final results from your filler treatment. If after that time you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.
It can take up to two weeks for any Hyaluronic-acid filler to settle, and for any surrounding swelling to decrease. Even though most fillers looks great immediately after they're injected, they can continue toimprove for approximately two weeks.
Hyaluronic acids, such as Restylane, Juvederm & Belatero, give immediate results. However, because they are made of hyaluronic acid, they bind to water and can cause some swelling. The amount and duration of swelling can very from treatment to treatment and depends on various factors such as sodium intake, type and amount of H.A. filler used, water retention, etc.
Thanks for your question. I always advise my patients to be careful of their face for about two days following injectable fillers. The fillers are easily malleable for about two days, so you don't want to do any deep tissue massage or anything like that. You can do your normal skin care routine, but don't press hard. I've been able to move fillers around up to about a week following the injections, but I have to press HARD and it's pretty uncomfortable for the patient. Good luck!
