I was interested in getting face massages mixed with RF for skin tightening and I’m worried they can affect the fillers I have on my cheeks (Restalyne Lyft) and around my mouth (Defyne). Is this something people with fillers should avoid?

Answer: Massages after fillers Hi, thank you for your question. This is actually something I go over with my patients after a filler treatment. I always advise against getting a massage for about 7-10 days after filler treatment as the filler is still mold able and can shift with pressure. After the aforementioned time, you can safely get massages. Hope that helps, -Melody PAC

Answer: Facial Massage after Fillers Thanks for your question Evelyn... Yes, massages can move the filler initially. It is generally recommended to wait at least 2 weeks before having a massage, manipulating the areas that have had filler added (try not to touch, if possible!), or having any additional treatments to the area immediately after. It is also recommended to avoid sleeping on the area filled or doing a significant amount of strenuous exercise following the procedure. Best of luck!
