I just got Breast aug silicone 500cc/right with bruising and and 460cc on left ultra high profile.. Nutrelle Miami 10/20/2015. Based on my pics, do you think they will get wider and bigger as they drop? And will my cleavage get closer as the swelling goes down? I'm hoping they will get bigger as they drop
Answer: Will my ultra high profile silicone breast get bigger as they drop? Will they come closer together as swelling goes down? You Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. It is much too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed; your breasts will undoubtedly change over the course of the next several weeks/months. Many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting. Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger. Although online consultants cannot predict whether or not you will be pleased with the long-term outlook, of the procedure performed, it is safe to predict that the breasts will change. Do your best to stay emotionally even keeled. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be pleased with longer-term.

Answer: Breast augmentation and post op settling Hello Thank you for your question. You are still in the infancy of your recovery. You need to give your breasts more time to recover. Gravity and time will get your breasts to settle in the appropriate places. Try to be patient. Best regards

Answer: Breast augmentation post op, some advices: Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us. it's not time enough to express a valid opinion of results. On the other hand, generally to avoid the normal p.o. swelling, I recommend to limit the arms movement for two weeks. Also it's not advisable to carry weight and take the antiinflamatory painkillers drugs. Finally, I recommend you always use a therapeutic bra.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Will my ultra high profile silicone breast get bigger as they drop? Will they come closer together as swelling goes down? I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. You will not lose any volume but the way your implant sits on your chest wall will change, and can result in different ‘fills’ to your bra. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
