Wearing tight clothes after Breast Augmentation?

Question

Hello, I've had breast augmentation about 1 month and a half ( nearly two months ) I have 500 cc silicone gel, subglandular. I wanted to ask is it okay to wear tight clothes after breast augmentation or not? Would this cause any harm or damage such as preventing them to drop in their correct place ( I don't know I'm just asking) because whenever I use tight clothes I feel that they are compressing my breasts and I'm worried they would damage them. Thank you

At this point in the healing process, you should be able to wear whatever you're happy wearing. I would double-check with your PS or their staff just to be sure. Good luck!

As you are 6 weeks post op and have probably returned to normal activity and exercise, I see no harm in your wearing whatever you want. Obviously, tight clothes are going to show off your new breasts best so I say go for it and enjoy the compliments.

Thanks for the question.  As with all patients, my first recommendation is to check in with your surgeon as he or she knows you and your process best.  That being said, I see no problem with you wearing tight clothes at this point in your recovery.  This should not prevent them from settling into position.  Good luck!

You really don't have to worry about your tight clothes damaging your breast implants two months after your operation.With time, and the weight of the implants along with gravity, they will settle into place. Thanks for sharing!

The best advice that I can give you is that you should speak to your plastic
surgeon. Online consultants are not the appropriate source of information for
you; your plastic surgeon should be your resource when it comes to
postoperative concerns.

This is important because every surgeon has different perspectives, the only
one that should be important is the one that operated on you ;)

Two months after a breast augmentation you should be absolutely fine wearing any kind of clothes you are comfortable with. A bit of (moderate) compression on your breasts would not cause any problems.
