You can drink it as soon as you can tolerate liquids. More importantly, make sure your PS has a cup of coffee in him/her prior to the surgery. That's a question worth asking. :)

I would follow the post op instructions of your Plastic Surgeon, however, in my practice, there is no restriction on caffeine post-op.Hope you are healing well!
You can resume drinking coffee whenever you would like after this surgery. Best of luck with your healing!
You should be sure to follow all of your doctor’s post-op instructions, but at my office we don’t have any limitations revolving around post-op caffeine intake. As soon as you are awake and back to normal from the anesthesia, you should be good to go! Thanks!
You may have coffee after your anesthesia has worn off and you are awake, alert and without any nausea.Good Luck!
You should be able to drink coffee whenever you wish after breast surgery (assuming you are doing well without problems such as nausea/vomiting). Best wishes.
There is no restriction regarding coffee drinking after surgery. Many patients are used to drinking several cups of coffee a day and have a headache if they are caffeine deficient. Our anesthesiologists actually give patients in that category a dose of caffeine intravenously to prevent those headaches.
No reason you can't have a cup of coffee the afternoon after the surgery. Certainly by the next morning. If you are a real coffee achiever, the headaches will begin within a day or two if you don't.Hope this helpsDr. Morrissey
