Are the incisions looking like they’re healing ok? How can I care for my incisions? 8 days post BL with augmentation.

Hello and thank you for your question!  Itching is a normal symptom to be experiencing after surgery.  You must try to get in touch with your surgeon and/or nursing staff to help better answer your questions.  Not all ointments work the same way and often times cause more adverse reactions on some patients.  Although you are an out of town patient, there are ways still to communicate your follow up care with your surgeon.  Hope this helps and best of luck to you!   

Hi thank you for your question. Your wounds appear reasonably normal for this early stage but try to get in touch with your surgeon to keep them informed. I would also check with them that your nipple placement relative to the implants is what they intended.Best wishes.

Your breasts seem to be healing well for only 8 days.  The scars will continue to fade with time.  I would suggest using a silicone product like Embrace for two months to better flatten the scars.  My one concern is the location of your nipple/areola complex.  They are very low.Dr T

Itching is common after any surgery. Even though your surgeon is in Miami, he or she must have a telephone.  Truthfully, part of what you have paid for is followup care and your questions are quite basic. All the answers should have been provided in aftercare instructions.  I recommend DermEnd for healing/scarring.
