Hi, I've been given anticoagulant tablets and self-administered injections for 7 days after my surgery and I'm worried as haven't found any other evidence of this. Is this normal?

Swelling can occur up to 1 year post-op. I recommend consulting with your physician about options to keep swelling at a minimum. You can also watch your salt intake, as salt will increase any swelling. Patience is key.good luck!
