Does hairline transplanted hair grow slower then the rest after ht?

Transplanted hair regrowth occurs at different rates after a procedure.  On average, hair will start to regrow 4 to 6 months after a procedure.  The hair grafts will each regrow at different rates depending on when they enter into the hair cycle.  

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.  Hair line does not take longer to grow.

The new hairline specifically would not grow at a different rate than the other transplanted areas.Each individual graft may have a slightly different growth cycle but typically you will start to see new growth around 3 months and full results at 10-12.

         
You are entering the 4th
month post transplant and will see the onset of hair growth first as thin, fine
hair.  Over the next few months hair will
become thicker and more coarse.  Not all
hair will enter this growth phase at the exact same time.  By the 12th month you will
essentially see the final result.

  
 

It takes longer than 3 months for the hair growth to show. More likely 6 months, when you should be able to see some fullness in the area.

Transplanted hairs start to visibly regrow between months 3-6. At month 6-9, a patient may expect to see growth for  80% of the transplants. Again, due to the random cycle of hair growth, not all grafts will start growing at the same time. Initially, the hair my be thinner and finer. It will gain length and density as it matures. Full growth from the transplants is usually achieved at 12 months

transplanted hair follicles may grow at different rates.You should start to see new growth between 3-6 months, and they will continue to thicken in diameter for up to 12 months or more.  It is still too early to judge at 3months.

Transplanted hair takes time to start their growth cycle, usually 4-6 months but when they start they will grow at a normal rate

The follicles will generally regrow within 3-5 months after surgery. They do not all begin to grow at the same time. The new hairs will thicken with time and should gain full benefit between 10 and 12 months post surgery.
