I think the best thing I can say is that I was prioritizing safety the most in considering who to choose for my rhinoplasty and immediately upon learning about Dr. Bared through a patient testimonial, I knew that I would be safe with him. He is truly a specialist with extensive experience and the evidence to back it up, as well as being a board certified ENT in addition to a plastic surgeon. Only after choosing him did I learn that I was a complex case. I have no regrets about my decision. His staff were all so warm and welcoming, his anesthetist took extra good care of me, and I have nothing bad to say! Now I just need time to go by so that I can enjoy the final results of his handiwork :)
Excellent rhinoplasty results. The office is run well and well organized. Dr Bared really took the time to be sure the extent of the possible results or even potential lack of results given my nose structure was very clear. He set for me rather modest expectations which was a good approach. He was able to straighten my nose and enhance the tip in a way that was more than he led me to believe was possible. The recovery was easy, almost pain-free if only uncomfortable because of the splint and not being able to blow my nose for so long. I had bruising under my eyes for a while but all healed with time beautifully.
Full disclosure: This review is documenting the before to the final after, which will be Jan/Feb/Mar 2025. After the consult, I scheduled the Eyebrow Hair Transplant surgery a week later. The staff and doctors and Dr. Bared are all great - No complaints. You'll see in the Before photos that my eyebrows are comically thin. Poorly shaped and a wreck. Dr. Bared outlined the frame of the brow to define where fine hairs were to begin with thicker hairs in the center. Arrived at 6:30AM Surgery began around 8:00AM - Face down for the grafting of hairs from back of scalp/neck area Broke for lunch (they provided) Returned to surgery 30 minutes later - Face up for hair placement. Surgery completed around 2:30PM I was offered a variety of pain relief options including IV sedation (sleep). I chose to remain awake with local anaesthesia. My pain tolerance is a 0, so looking back, I almost regret not getting the IV sedation, only because the anaesthetic process of needles going into the face was exceedingly uncomfortable. Not blaming anyone, it's just my experience. The procedure itself was painless because I was numb. Just the numbing process was very very very uncomfortable. Staff was very calming, comforting, accommodating, friendly and helpful. I was coherent after surgery and used a rideshare app to bring me home. Meds: * Hydrocodone for pain (I took 1, but almost didn't need it) * Ambien for sleep (I took 1, but I sleep fine anyway, so won't take anymore) * Antibiotic gel for my grafting area of scalp/neck * Antibiotic pills Pain: Worst pain was the numbing part of the eyes. Probably a 8 or 9 Actual procedures: Grafting (0) Hair placement (0) <-- Painless Hours later at home maybe a 1 at most. Day 2: not 0 but definitely not a 1. no pain meds needed. Bruising/Swelling: Day 1 and day 2. But not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Almost little swelling and minor bruising. What happens next: * Wait for hairs to fall out naturally * Wait for new hairs to grow naturally, appearing around Jan/Feb * Based on final outcome in Jan/Feb/Mar, evaluate for either additional grafting or keep as-is I am satisfied with my decision and with the work of Dr. Bared and the team. So far so good. I will update this review through Winter of 2025.
When I started my search for surgeons, I was looking for someone who showcased natural looking results. This is what immediately drew me to Dr Bared. Also, I see lot's of surgeons who perform all types of surgeries from lower body to face which is not what I was looking for. I was looking for someone who not only specialized in facial aesthetics but someones who specialized in Rhinoplasties. From the very start, I knew I was in good hands. Dr Bared is very knowledgeable and is dedicated to providing you with the best results. He takes into account your own anatomy so that you look like the best you. I had several concerns with my nose and he was able to correct them all. Highly recommend!
10/10 Best decision ever was to go with Dr. Bared. He is a specialist in the natural look. If you want the doll nose I wouldn't recommend him but if you want to look like you but refined he is the best. I had my first rhinoplasty done a month ago now by Dr Bared. I liked my nose before it didn't have any issues but I wanted a more refined femine look. My goal was to reduce the overall size especially the bulbous tip. The office was flexible with my neediness and odd requests. They were very realistic and solution focused ( Best quality to have when running a business) The only con I could think of is that I felt the post op instructions should be more detailed but I believe they have so many different cases they give you a general instruction and the rest you ask as you go. I used Google and Reddit to get me through.
Dr Bared provided amazing results for me. I get comments often and was back doing zoom calls within a couple of days without anyone really noticing.. just commenting on my short haircut on the sides. It was a FUE procedure, quick, one day. Nice staff. A year on I am comfortable saying I would recommend this doctor completely. I consulted with four doctors total across LA, Miami, Houston, and New Orleans, and this was who I landed on and I am very glad I did. I've made many referrals already to him since people close to me ask who did it. So yes, very happy and grateful.
I had my lip reduction on 11/9/22, the doctor and staff were very informative. The procedure went very well, I am still in the healing process and I love my results so far.
My experience with Dr. Bared and his team was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I had been considering rhinoplasty for over 10 years, had other consults with various surgeons and never felt comfortable enough to go through with it. I wanted to keep the integrity of my nose and still look like myself - just more refined or finessed version. After meeting with Dr. Bared and Danielle prior to my procedure, I knew that this was the place for me. Dr. Bared’s calm and honest demeanor in addition to his excellent communication skills and obvious expertise made this big decision that much easier. Aside from Dr. Bared being highly skilled and an artist with an eye for natural aesthetics, his team is also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Danielle, Cindy, the anesthesiologist and others who I spoke with throughout the process were always happy to explain things in detail to me and truly made me feel cared for from start to finish. I am only one week post op, but couldn’t be happier with my results and am so glad that I trusted Dr. Bared with this procedure. I would recommend him to anyone 10x over. Thank you, Dr. Bared!
I am over one year out from my rhinoplasty with Dr Bared. I am very happy with my results! Dr Bared and his staff made me feel very comfortable on the day of surgery. With scheduling and appointments his staff made me feel like I was a priority and they were very accomodating. All in all it was a great experience. Thank you Dr Bared!
My experience with Dr. Bared was more than amazing before I make the decision of going with him I of course did my research and visited other drs that were chipper but when it comes to your nose you have to go with an specialist, and dr Bared is one. He exited my expectations you can tell he’s a perfectionist by the good care, time he gives to his patients and the way he explains everything. After surgery they will put you in a hot room to recover which I love because usually after surgery you are really cold they will give you everything you need for your post care. You truly feel care by the whole staff and the dr .I truly cannot complain about a thing my whole process was awesome and nose looking at its best when I met with dr Bared I knew he was one who would do my nose and do great job and So he Did. Thank you Dr, and the whole staff for everything beyond grateful. May the Lord continue to bless your hands and keep you surrounded by the awesome staff that you have.
Addressing the crown with hair transplantation as a stand-alone procedure can be very underwhelming for a patient. The crown is a difficult area to achieve the appearance of adequate density. IT is not as much the amount of grafts that factor into the appearance of density but rather the other factors which can limit the appearance of adequate density to the crown. The radial growth of hair in the region, the convex shape of the scalp, and the directional growth of hair all limit the appearance of density. In general, frontal hair loss and transplantation to the frontal area of the scalp is able to achieve a higher appearance of density. Combined measures such as medical therapy, scalp micropigmentation, and hair transplantation will maximize the results of crown hair loss.
In order to address your specific concerns, photos would be needed. However, in the vast majority of cases, the tip needs to be supported to address a long, droopy nose.
Nostrils can be changed in size by using various techniques in rhinoplasty. the size of the nostrils can be altered and made smaller by small incision around the nostrils whether along the inside or the outside--depending on the exact goals and the shape of the nostrils. Alar base reductions can make the nostril size smaller and also change the shape of the nostrils to have them appear more oval and less circular in shape. Alar flare reductions can leave the nostril size unaltered while reducing the width of the base of the nose. Communicating your exact goals with your surgeon will help you each develop the best plan for your specific case.
The most important aspect to be taken into consideration in your case is the thickness of the skin. Thick skin is a setup for the potential of a pollybeak deformity or fullness in the area above the tip. In your case, it is not simply the reduction of the bridge but the adequate support of the tip which would enable the best long term outcomes.
In your case, the tip can be narrowed and slightly supported on the profile view which would allow for a straighter appearance to the nose from the profile. The front of the nose can be straightened likely through asymmetric osteotomies and addressing the deviation of the cartilage.
