Sudden swollen lips after having filler 3 months ago. What can I do? (Photo)

ive had lip fillers (J. Voluma w Lido. 1x1.0 ml) 3 months ago and it was fine. No swelling and no pain. However, for the past 3 days my lips suddenly got so big and swollen. Gets bigger each day! I can't see my dr. Cause he's in a different country. Please help!

At three months this is highly unusual.  Your doctor will have someone who covers for them while they are out of town so ask if you can see the doctor who is covering.  You might need to take a short course of steroids to help with the swelling.

Thank you for your question.  You need to be examined by a physcian. You may have an infection. Treatment would be steroids, antibiotics and reversal of the product.  Consult with a local board certified injector. Best Wishes.

Thank you for your question. This is unusual after 3 months and may indicate an infection. This would need to be treated with steroids and antibiotics. Also, it may be necessary to dissolve your filler with hyaluronidase. I recommend having an evaluation right away for proper treatment. You do not need to see the same doctor. Best of Luck!

This needs to be seen by a doctor and it doesn't have to be the same one. This is probably an infection. The filler most likely needs to be removed with hyaluronidase.
