In July, I had mid-cheek Resylane and under-eye skin boosters. In September, I had Light Eyes treatment and immediately acquired large festoon bags along the top of my cheekbones, which have now reduced but are still visible. Yesterday I had 1,500ml of hyaluronidaise injected along the festoon and under-eye area. Today I am very swollen, so need to wait. Until then: 1) What is likely to have caused the festoon bags? 2) Is there any other way to remove them? 3) Might the damage be permanent?
Answer: Malar Bags/Festoons are Genetic -- Laser (Fraxel, co2, erbium), microneedling/PRP, fillers, RF (venus legacy, exilis ultra) you are in need of a lift and long term collagen production/skin tightening. the fillers arent worsening the festoons, they are prominent because of your aging and you need a more comprehensive plan. for the festoons alone, plasma pen, lasers, fillers can all help but you need much more for a real plan. start dermarolling at home now with peels. Answer: How can I remove festoon bags which were created after Light Eyes, Skin Booster and Filler Thank you very much for your answer, The first thing is that we must apply hyaluronidase to fade the product you have there . in your case I recommend performing a treatment in combination of techniques and technologies that allow us to object to a rejuvenation of the mada, in this case it would be botox to control the lines of expression of the ocular contour and perform a blepharoplasty to extract the bags of the lower eyelid. Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that aims to improve the aged appearance of the eyelids by removing fat bags and excess skin from them. It can be done in isolation or in combination with some other facial cosmetic surgery. In the consultation, the specialist assesses the individual characteristics of your eyelids, as well as their general condition. You are also informed about the usual preoperative rules about taking or suppressing medicines, tobacco, taking liquids and food.DuringBlepharoplasty is performed in the operating room, under general anesthesia, and usually lasts 1 to 3 hours.AfterThe eyelids will be swollen and bruises will appear that will resolve in a few days. You may notice alterations in your visual acuity, tearing, hypersensitivity to light during the first 2 or 3 weeks, you should wear sunglasses while the bruises persist. It is important to keep relative rest 2 or 3 days and avoid efforts for 1 month. You will be able to return to work in about 1 week or 10 days.RisksBlepharoplasty is a safe surgery and risks are minimized by following the surgeon's instructions.Among the minor complications that may occur are: blurred vision, edema or slight asymmetries in healing.ResultsThe scar in a few months will be practically invisible. The results after a blepharoplasty are favorable and last for years, in many cases, they are permanent. Bags don't usually reappear.

Answer: Festoons Thank you so much for your question. Before I get to the answer it is always best to remember that nothing replaces an in person consultation and treatment with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Only they have rigorous training and rigorous examinations that ensure that you’re getting the absolute best. You wouldn’t want anyone other than a cardiac surgeon working on your heart and you should have same standards for your cosmetic procedures. The plan and treatment or only as good as the person performing them. Festoons are very hard to remove completely, but they can be improved on. Usually for optimal results a combination approach is the best. From what I see in the photos, I think continuing hyaluronidase and adding accutite and morpheus8 would be the best first starting point. Co2 laser and doxycycline injections is what we add on if patients want even more improvement. Finally biostimulatory and properly placed lifting filers can be done For a more personalized approach, I would recommend an in person or virtual 3d assessment. Good luck and happy to help.
