I am uneven on one side 6 hours after appointment. I had Juvederm Volift in my cheeks today. One is very smooth and you can't tell that there's anything inside (it looks very natural), the other has what feels like an uneven solid lump in it. It isn't very noticeable but it catches the light and casts a shadow that makes my skin look really uneven. Should I be worried or will this go away? I'm worried it's not just swelling because of how solid it feels :(. Thanks

Answer: Uneven Cheek Fillers 6 Hours Post-Treatment It is not uncommon to experience a small degree of asymmetry immediately post-treatment due to the potential for swelling and bruising. Juvederm can take up to 4 weeks to integrate, so it is best to wait and review in 2-4 weeks with your Injector at which point you will have a better idea of the final result. If there is a residual degree of asymmetry you could consider further Juvederm treatment to address this, or alternatively dissolving the filler.

Answer: Swelling and the ability to feel the filler is not uncommon for the first 2 weeks after treatment Swelling and the ability to feel the filler is not uncommon for the first 2 weeks after treatment. Let everything have time to settle and for the swelling and bruising to resolve. Then follow up with the treating physician.
