I was suppose to get juvaderm lip injections today. Ended up calling the day before to make sure a steroid and antibiotic I’m currently taking for strep throat would not have a reaction to the injections. They said because I’m allergic to penicillin and metformin (Swelling of mouth and throat) that I was no longer a candidate for injections

Thank you for your question. Intraline fillers seem to be Hyaluronic Acid based, so you should be alright to add Juvederm product into your lips in a few month. Make sure to see an expert injector for assessment and treatment plan.
