I have very small cheekbones and my face looks round. I want to have especially high cheekbones just like the guy in the picture. How many syringes of Voluma will I need to achieve this result?
Answer: How many syringes of Juvederm or Voluma will I need to fill out my cheekbones? Less is More Often Times.(Photos) Hi SVR,You will get your best estimate of how many syringes of Voluma will be needed to give you your aesthetic cheek enhancement goal after an in person consultation. As you are relatively young, I would be conservative and begin with 1 to 2 cc of Voluma, more can always be added. When it comes to facial volume, often times less is more! You should see an excellent result with only 1 to 1.5 cc if injected properly in the proper place. The most important aspect of your treatment is that you choose your injecting physician most carefully based on their skill, experience, knowledge, and natural artistic vision. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA

Answer: Cheek Augmentation (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill), Sculptra, Implants, Fat You can start with one syringe on each side and assess in 2 weeks to see if additional filler is needed. These fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra are good for cheek augmentation. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Voluma The wonderful thing about fillers is that you can start slowly and build on your results. Begin with one syringe per side and see what you think. You can add further syringes until you get the look you want.

Answer: Voluma Thank you for the photos. It is always a good rule of thumb to start with less and then gradually build over time. I suggest consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon who can determine how many syringes of Voluma can help you reach your aesthetic goals.

Answer: It is always best to be evaluated in person to see how much product is needed to meet goal. Thank you for your question! It is always best to be evaluated in person to see how much product is needed to meet goal. Each syringe of Juvederm Voluma is 1 cc (1 ml) which represents 20% of a teaspoon to give you some perspective. Often times, a lot can be done with 1-2 syringes in a younger patient, however, it is best to be seen to allow for your practitioner to assess for any volume deficits. Best of luck!
