so today is the second day after receiving 1ml of Juvederm ultra. I’ve noticed a dent in my lip that shows up especially when I smile and when I press my lips. This is my second treatment in the last 5 months. Should I contact my injector?
Answer: Lip injections This appears to be the effects of swelling. Bruising and swelling are common after lip injections and can persist up to two weeks. Gentle massage of the area is sometimes helpful. If you still have concerns after two weeks, return to your injector for an evaluation.

Answer: Indentation in my lower lip? Indentation in my lower lip? Thanks for your question. Without examining you, this is just a guess. My guess is that there is no filler where you have the indent and where the filler was injected you have become swollen. This makes the two parts of your lips look quite different. I suggest that you discussed to sushi with your injector and seek treatment if it is recommended.Have a wonderful day, Dr. Aldo

Answer: Dent in lip after filler Thankyou for your question. You are still swollen after the treatment and the swelling can be very asymmetrical. If this is still present after 2 weeks i suggest you see your injector. It looks as though the raised part of the lip may be superficial placement of the product and will need to be dissolved. Please wait the full 2 weeks before you see the injector . Good luck

Answer: Looks like this is how your filler was injected. Looks like this is how your filler was injected. You can give yourself a couple of weeks and if this does not improve with finger massaging your lips, then I would follow up with your treating physician.
