Bruising and swelling can occur with filler injection and may take as long as 2 weeks to resolve. You may use NSAIDs (like Aleve, Advil) as directed on the bottle for the next 3 days to decrease tenderness and swelling and/or ice for up to 5 minutes 4 times per day. If the lumps persist past the 2 week mark and you are unhappy with the results, I would return to the clinic to have the filler dissolved using Hylauronidase. Best of luck!
japstott- There can be the appearance of some initial asymmetry following filler due to swelling. I would recommend waiting 2 weeks and if you still believe there is asymmetry, I would return to the practice where you had the filler placed and have them add filler to even the cheeks or have the filler removed using Hylauronidase. Good luck!
Mini555- There is a range of Botox units that is used to treat the masseters and improve bruxism and everyone requires a little bit different number of units. If you are still having problems with jaw clenching, you may add more Botox and this will help reduce the problems and decrease the strength and size of the masseter muscles. The first couple of treatments you usually will require more Botox units in order to decrease masseter strength and size until the muscle relaxes and becomes smaller. You may also pair the treatments with wearing a retainer at night to help protect your teeth and prevent jaw pain and headaches while figuring out the correct Botox units. I hope this helps!
The O-shot is more for increased vaginal rejuvenation and stimulation. If you are concerned about having the ovaries removed or having issues after a hysterectomy then I would say money better spent would be finding a hormonal specialist like myself that can find hormonal balance that will directly improve your vaginal tissues, help with libido, sleep, and a multitude of other problems by balancing, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA levels in your body
I would say that some providers may cringe at the aspect of doing the shot at this time of the month but a gynecologist like myself would have no problem doing so and there is absolutely no reason not to do the o-shot at this time.
