Can my gynecomastia surgery where too much tissue was removed 3 years ago from the lower chest area be corrected? (photos)

Hi, sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience with surgery abroad. There are a couple of potential options with regards to trying to correct some of the problems that you are experiencing - excision of any excess skin (but you would need to accept significantly more scarring), or fat transfer to address some of the less than satisfactory contour change.

Thanks for your question. To improve this I would recommend further liposuction together with fat transfer to the indentations in your lower chest. This will need to be combined with scar release as well.

Yes you have had very neven correction. For the most part you will probably just need liposuction but in the area of the crease you might need either fat grafting or fat flaps. Make sure you go to an experienced gynecomastia surgeon. Good luck.

Contouring deformity (when the natural shape of an anatomical area has been disturbed) is a risk with any surgery where tissue is removed. Both liposuction and gland removal for gynaecomastia fall under this umbrella. It also looks to me (only based on the pictures provided) that the IMF - the natural crease under your chest- has also been somewhat affected by the surgery possibly not supporting the tissue effectively. You may consider a further liposuction to remove some of the undesired fullness and give more shape and also a fat transfer to address the indentation. The painful nipple may be secondary to residual breast tissue or scar tissue. There are solutions for both, but they need to be identified on a consultation .
